Food Ordering

I’ve long envisioned a platform where food was transparently priced, fairly attributed, and well documented.

To that end, I’m building a platform that lets diners vote with their dollars on what food should be made, encourages cooks to learn and grow, and pulls back the curtain on why food costs so darn much.

To start, I’m planning to bootstrap this concept with a platform such as Hotplate or Table22. As the project evolves, I’ll consider building a custom service to manage it.

The core concept is that the menu is determined in advance and diners prepay for their meal. All costs (food, labor, overhead, delivery, admin) are shown and attributed as much as is feasible. Participation in the production and delivery of food will be open to all.

Currently in talks with Root to work with their kitchen, staff, graduates and trainees to get this project off the ground.
