I eat so much food. So much in fact that I struggle to remember all the food that I eat.
Was this the place with the good pad thai? Did I like the burger here?
These are insurmountable obstacles in my brain.
I’m building a platform that allows people to:
- Log the food they ate both at home and from restaurants
- Note if they liked or disliked the dishes
- Revisit their entries to recall their preferences
Once that basic functionality is working, I envision adding:
- Food “cohorts”, ie: groups of people who have similar tastes, which you can take advantage of when trying food in a new area
- Dish champions. I eat a lot of fried chicken sandwiches. Am I the king of fried chicken sandwiches? Only one way to find out…
- Integrations into online ordering platforms. Automatic ingestion of order history to preclude the need for manual recording, plus the ability to “verify” actual purchases.
